Travel
In the car, traveling back from a family get-together in Kansas, visiting my brother : As I work furiously to finish the blog and prepare for launch, chaos blooms around me — both online and in the backseat.
One child is yelling that she needs dinner now — and refuses every snack offered. The other is gripping my hand tightly, tugging me close, pleading to get out of his seat right now.
Toys are thrown.
Food is refused.
On repeat.
Shows are watched.
On repeat.
Questions are asked.
On repeat.
“I not like it!”
Meanwhile, I’m trying to search for Airbnbs for our Thanksgiving trip, coordinating with extended family, eyes aching from a day of hotspot-connected work in the car.
And still—
It’s worth it.
This is beautiful chaos.
Today, in another form.
What does your beautiful chaos look like today, mama?
