Artist’s Way Workshop

Artist Way Workshop

Have you been curious about the Artist Way as a means of accessing your creative self ? Or maybe you’ve never heard of it - it’s a gem! I’ve journeyed through this book several times over the years and always feel enriched and enlivened at the end. I’d love for you to join me as I once again start the year in this manner – join for discussion, learning, community and self discovery.

The Artist Way posits that all – yes ALL- of us are creative and capable of creative input into the world. That might be in traditional ways such as writing, painting, playing an instrument, etc - or it might be by creatively approaching your meal planning or accessing creative outlets you used to love – ice skating? reading? – and letting these things impact your life in meaningful ways. This book and group will offer support as you engage with this part of yourself and learn how you want to bring creativity into your life in its current iteration.

“Survival lies in sanity, and sanity lies in paying attention...the capacity for delight is the gift of paying attention.”

-Julia Cameron, Author of The Artist’s Way

Join Us!

This will be an in-person gathering in Clintonville. We all need more in-person contact these days, especially during the winter months!

We will explore the Artist’s Way and other books on creativity, incorporate mindfulness, yoga and movement as desired - and generally dabble in all the things.

If you have questions or just want to chat about art or poetry for a minute, give me a call and I’d be delighted to connect with you.
